From 1988 to now, I haven't counted it, but it would be over 500 million of visitors from the rich part of the world. 500 000 000 persons. A perfect place to hide a virus outbreak also. Thailand is not like Sweden or Germany. Thailand is like many other countries in this part of the world. They would do anything to hide a virus outbreak to protect the most important income source, the tourism. All Thais should agree on this. All know how important the tourism is for the country. If something happening all keep the mouth quitet, if not, they could easily disappear or end up in jail or even get killed. This is a theory how this all started and when. It has to be verified. Or not. Everything is in place. The theory is based on mortallity data from 60 countries from 2000-2019 except for Thailand where the data is from 1980.
